Wynn Ridenhour Trexler

FAITH - Mrs. Wynn Ridenhour Trexler, 70, of Faith, NC, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.

Mrs. Trexler was born on Sept. 15, 1941 in Rowan County, daughter of the late Lee R. Ridenhour and Olena Ludwig Ridenhour.

She was a 1959 graduate of Granite Quarry High School and later became the first Certified Paralegal in North Carolina and a Founder of Fill-Tech in Rockwell. Mrs. Trexler was a life member of Faith Lutheran Church and was former chairman of the church council and was in the hand bell choir. She was also a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed two cars of her own.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Trexler who passed away on Oct. 28, 1991, and also a daughter Wendy Trexler Smith who passed away May 26, 2010.

Mrs. Trexler is survived by her sons Dale Trexler and wife Leslie of Faith, Chris Trexler and wife Christine of Faith, and Matthew Trexler and wife Jennifer of Neptune Beach, Fla.; a brother Rickey L. Ridenhour and wife Brenda of Faith; and also nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation and Services: The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Clarence E. Sifford, former pastor. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 in the Faith Lutheran Church Family Life Center prior to the service.
