Sunday, March 23, 2008 — Edith Boger Whitley Moser, 92, died Friday March 21, 2008, at Britthaven of Piedmont, Albemarle.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gordon Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, conducted by The Rev. Rommie Williams; burial followed at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m until the hour of the funeral.
Born July 14, 1915, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late George A. Boger and Vernia Cline Boger and was a member of Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Whitley, and second husband, James Moser.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Whitley and wife, Carolyn, of New London, Alvin Whitley and wife, Carolyn, of Mt. Pleasant, and Calvin Whitley and wife, Barbara, of Concord; a brother, Ray Boger of Rockwell; two sisters, Bertha Kluttz of Mt. Pleasant and Margaret Kluttz of Rockwell; stepsons, Joel Moser and Alvin Moser, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
