Helen Jahala Hatley
Helen Jahala Hatley, 84, of Albemarle passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 in her home. Her funeral service will be 4 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jacquelyn Tookey officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Born June 25, 1930 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Charlie Caudle and Aria Almond Caudle and was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Hatley. She is survived by her sister Mary Almond and her husband Tommy of Albemarle.
Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, or Hospice of Stanly County.
