Saundra Kay Furr Paige, 73 years of age, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home.
Saundra was born September 2, 1941 in Cabarrus County to the late John Jacob Furr and the late Edith Little Furr Barnhardt. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Whitley.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mike Burris. The burial will be at the St. Stephens Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 7601 Brusharbor Rd. in Concord.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jeffery Eugene Paige of the home; daughters, Linda Pryce and husband Curtis of China Grove, and Brenda Boatright and husband Jimmy of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Jeremy Greene, Jennifer Patton, Brian and Greg Furr; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Furr and wife Barbara of Mt. Pleasant; and aunt, Margie Widenhouse of Concord.
Saundra worked as a drapery cutter at American Lockstitch in Locust, and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant. She loved flowers and gardening.
