SALISBURY - Charlie Quincy Oddie, 86, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Oddie was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Henry Elbert Oddie and Nina Eller Oddie.
He was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a farmer and trapper. Mr. Oddie was a member of Union Lutheran Church, and he enjoyed gardening, and loved his farm animals.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Francis Wells of Salisbury; a special nephew., Leon Oddie of Salisbury; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Service and Burial: The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Union Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Howard, Pastor with burial in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Powles Funeral Home from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Union Lutheran Church: 4770 Bringle Ferry Rd. Salisbury, NC 28146.

SALISBURY - Charlie Quincy Oddie, 86, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Rowan Regional Medical Center.
