Betty Mills Eudy
Betty Mills Eudy left this world for her heavenly home Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 87.
Mrs.Eudy was born February 17, 1930 in Union County to the late Clayton Mills and the late Lessie Harris Mills. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ernest Lee Eudy; a brother, Gene Mills; and a sister, Shirley Hildreth.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM, Friday, December 8, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church, 617 Bethel Church Road in Locust. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 PM officiated by Dr. Larry Beaver. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Sheila (Gene) Aldridge of Locust; sons, Jerel (Kathy) Eudy of Stanfield and Gary Eudy of Locust; grandchildren, Eric Aldridge, Brandy Kennedy, Wesley Eudy, Christa Huneycutt, Lindsey Eudy, Seth Eudy, and Bethany Eudy; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Lewis (Lectie) Mills; and sisters, Elizabeth (Red Picklesimer) Barrier and Judie (Jay) DeMuth.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Judy Mills and Sherry Harwood as well as Diane Burris, Patsy Caudle, Banna and Darrell Hathcock and Marvene Hinson. Gratitude is also extended to family and friends for their love and support.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
