Anna Rose Goodman Cauble
Anna Rose Goodman Cauble, 86, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
Mrs. Cauble was born on August 29, 1931 in Rowan County to the late Floyd and Lala Walton Goodman. She attended school at East Spencer School. Mrs. Cauble was a very active member of Union Lutheran Church and the Union Volunteer Fire Department Sunshine Club; she cooked for the Wednesday night dinners at the church, and at the annual Fireman's Christmas Banquet.
Mrs. Cauble enjoyed planning and organizing mountain trips for the Snowbird Community Program in West Virginia, planning weddings and receptions and get-togethers for family and friends. She loved to cook.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cauble was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Kenneth Goodman.
She is survived by her husband of over 69 years, Arnold Deitz Cauble, whom she married July 11, 1948; three sons, Arnold Michael Cauble and wife Brenda, Randy Floyd Cauble and wife Karen, and Steven Darnell Cauble and wife Connie, all of Salisbury; four granddaughters, Sandra Tukel and husband Uf of Delray Beach, FL, Crystal Ann Casper of Salisbury, Katina Tucker and husband Mezak of Salisbury, and Michele Yago of Concord; two grandsons, Jason Franklin Cauble and wife Stacy, and Travis Steven Cauble all of Salisbury; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, December 29, 2017, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Union Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, Salisbury, NC, and other times at the home.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 29, 2017, in the Union Lutheran Church, with Pastor Tonya Brittain and Rev. T.C. Plexico officiating.
Burial will follow in the Union Lutheran Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Union Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
