Lanell Brady Roseman

SALISBURY - Lanell Brady Roseman, 86, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 25, 1925 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Mae Waller Brady and Robert Lee Brady.

Mrs. Roseman was a 1943 graduate of Boyden High School. She was a homemaker who was very creative, artistic and a skilled seamstress. She enjoyed shopping and playing games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Rowan Doll Club.

She was a faithful member of Stallings Memorial Baptist Church where she taught children's sunday school and was a worker in the Stallings Memorial History Room.

Mrs. Roseman was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and good friend who always thought of others before herself.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fairel Monroe Roseman on Aug. 9, 1991 and one sister, Thelma Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are one son, Jeff Roseman of Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Pam Lippard and husband Gary of Salisbury and Jan Pinion and husband Wayne of New London; seven grandchildren, Michael Lippard and wife Lauren of Christiansburg, Va., Misty Lippard of Salisbury, Natalie Roseman and Paige Roseman, both of Winston-Salem, Phillip Roseman of Roanoke, Va., Jessica Dampier and husband Shaun of Salisbury and Trey Pinion and wife Whitleigh of New London; two great-grandchildren, Kylar Pinion and Eliza Lippard; one sister, Peggy Smith of Burlington; and many friends.

Visitation: 12-1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at Stallings Memorial Baptist Church, Rhyne Building, 817 S. Main Street, Salisbury.

Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Stallings Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.

Memorials: Stallings Memorial Baptist Church, Salisbury NC.
