KANNAPOLIS -- The funeral is today for Gene Alton Kepley, 63, Kannapolis, who died Tuesday (March 15, 2005).
Born April 26, 1941, in Davidson County, Mr. Kepley was a son of the late Joseph Ray and Anne Eagle Kepley. He was a 1959 graduate of Landis High School.
A Lutheran, he was employed in construction for many years and later worked at Pillowtex Corp. Plant 1.
Survivors include brothers Jerry L. Kepley, China Grove, and Albert Kepley, Alpeana, Mich.; and sister Hilda Kepley Gobble, Kannapolis.
Services: Entombment, 11:30 today, West Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, China Grove, conducted by the Rev. Dr. James Strickland.
Visitation: 10-11 today, Whitley's Funeral Home.
