SALISBURY - Edith Ritchie Misenheimer, 89, of 820 Klumac Road died Thursday June 30, 2005 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Edith was born May 16, 1916 in Stanly County to the late Ernest Ritchie and Rosa Smith Ritchie. She graduated from Stanly High School and graduated from Greensboro Womens College, and attended Pheiffer College. She taught school for 29 years and last taught at Landis Elementary, 2nd grade. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She retired to Trinity Oaks of Salisbury.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday July 2, 2005 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis.
Service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday July 3, 2005 at Concordia Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, China Grove, NC.
Survivors include a daughter Cynthia M. Deese of Salisbury; grandson Zachary Alton Fritts of China Grove; brother James Ritchie of Virginia.
The family is being served by Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home, Landis.
