Junior was married for 57 years to the love of his life, Margaret, and had two beautiful daughters, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.  He loved his family with all his heart and soul.   Junior was the greatest role model and a loving and supportive Husband, Daddy, Pawpaw, Uncle, and friend as any one could ever ask for.  He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in any way.  Junior attended Badin School.  He loved farming with his grandpa and uncles.  He worked as a mechanic throughout his life and retired from the NC DOT.  Junior loved fishing, camping, boating, lawnmower pulling, beach trips, traveling, gardening, working in his yard and home, football, and NASCAR.  His most recent project was restoring his 1965 Chevy pickup with the help of his loving nephew, Brian Almond.  But his most cherished moments were spent with his loving family, especially his grandkids because they always came first.  Saved by God's amazing grace, Junior is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior along with all the precious family that have gone on before him.
