John Daniel "Danny" Shaver, age 67, of Hallyburton Road, Mt Gilead died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home.
Danny was born May 31, 1946 at Albemarle, NC, the son of Walter Samuel and Dorothy Springer Shaver. He was of the Baptist faith and a stone mason. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Danny is survived by his wife: Linda Hallyburton Shaver of the home; one daughter: Danielle Elizabeth Shaver of Troy; three sons: John Darrell Shaver of Pilot Mountain, Jonathan Reid Shaver, Steven Thomas Shaver, both of Mt. Gilead; three sisters: Shelley Herrin of Albemarle, Mary Shaver and Vicky Lee Harrison, both of Richfield; two brothers: Walter Samuel Shaver, Jr. of Richfield, Paul Thomas Shaver of New London; ten grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 3:30 pm at Shaver Family Cemetery, Hallyburton Road, Mt Gilead.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
