Clarence Charles Swinson
ROCKWELL - Clarence Charles "Charlie" Swinson, 84, of Rockwell, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Mr. Swinson was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Cabarrus County, son of the late Jacob Grover Cleveland Swinson and Mary Ann Shinn Swinson. He was employed by Cannon Mills and retired from Carolina Stalite.
Mr. Swinson was a member of Organ Lutheran Church. He was an avid farmer and enjoyed gardening and worked on lawn mowers and his tractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Annie Bell Miller Swinson, on Nov. 17, 2008.
He is survived by his brother, Arie Swinson of Rockwell; and nieces and nephews.
Service: There will be a graveside service Thursday at 11 a.m. at Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted Rev. Terrell Long, pastor, and Rev. Robert Yount, visitation pastor.
Memorials: May be made to Organ Lutheran Church.

ROCKWELL - Clarence Charles "Charlie" Swinson, 84, of Rockwell, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Mr. Swinson was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Cabarrus County, son of the late Jacob Grover Cleveland Swinson and Mary Ann Shinn Swinson. He was employed by Cannon Mills and retired from Carolina Stalite.
