Mr. Robert Charles Misenheimer, age 66, of 336 Sides Street, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, May 13th, 2011 at his home. His funeral will take place at 3 PM on Sunday, May 15th, 2011 at Pauls Crossing Baptist Church and his family will receive friends from 2 PM until 3 PM just prior to the hour of service. Rev. Mark Little will officiate and burial will be in Paul's Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times his family will be at the home of his daughter, 1005 Hwy. 52 North, New London, NC.
Born June 21st, 1944 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Misenheimer was the son of the late William Floyd Misenheimer and Rachel Lucille Treece Misenheimer. He was educated at North Stanly High School and formerly employed with Allstar, Cargill, and Morning Glory Eggs. He was a member of Paul's Crossing Baptist Church and enjoyed softball and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Oleane Lambert Misenheimer, and one son, Robert C. Misenheimer, Jr.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Eury of Albemarle, NC and Lisa Mooneyham of New London, NC; four brothers: William Misenheimer of Albemarle, NC, Terry Misenheimer of Badin, NC, Ted Misenheimer of China Grove, NC, and Jimmie Misenheimer of Richfield, NC; five sisters: Patsy Blackwelder of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Lib Stewart of Richfield, NC, Brenda Doby of Albemarle, NC, Judy Misenheimer of Albemarle, NC, and Gail Misenheimer of Richfield, NC; three grandchildren: Jackie Howell, Whitney Howell, and Dallas Mooneyham.
