Warren Eugene “Bud” Vanhoy, of Rockwell, passed away at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury on January 9th, 2022 at the age of 66.
Warren is predeceased by mother, Lorene Fraley Vanhoy and father, Melvin Eugene Vanhoy, both of Albemarle.
Warren is survived by his loving wife Jackie, of 48 years.
Warren is lovingly remembered by his son, Brian (Dana) of Mooresville; grandchildren Zachary and Lucas; his sisters Faye Blalock of Albemarle, Janice Binkley McCoy (Dene) of McKenzie, Alabama, and Sharon Barbee Griggs (Ronnie) of Lexington.
Warren was born in Albemarle, NC in 1955. He graduated from Albemarle Senior High School in 1973. He worked as an electrician and heating and air technician.
The Memorial Service will be held at West Albemarle Baptist Church, 336 Church Street, Albemarle NC on Sunday, January 23rd at 2:00pm officiated by Rev. Adam Hatley, Rev. Brent Pope, and Rev. Dene McCoy.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Children’s Ministry c/o West Albemarle Baptist Church, 336 Church Street, Albemarle NC; or to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury NC.
