Harold Eagle

LINWOOD - Harold Timothy Eagle, 62, of Linwood, passed away March 30, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Mr. Eagle was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Rowan County to the late Murry "Red" Lee Eagle and Gladys Bolen Eagle.

Mr. Eagle enjoyed working on old cars and shooting and was owner of Eagle and Whitaker Jewelry and Pawn in Granite Quarry with his friend and partner Barry Whitaker. Mr. Eagle was also a past governor of Spencer Moose Lodge in Spencer and was the past owner of Eagle Electric in Salisbury.

Tim never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family more than anything.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Willard Eagle, Henderson Eagle and Larry Eagle; and a sister, Martha Eagle Patton.

Mr. Eagle is survived by his wife, Juanita Morris Eagle; sons "Bo" Junior Lee Eagle and wife Michelle of Rockwell, Derrick Gathings of Missouri and Daniel Gathings of Linwood; daughter Jessica Cavender of Linwood; brothers Wayne Eagle and Joe Hodge; sisters Jane Eagle Peeler and husband Dan, Barbara Eagle Spry and husband Ron, Lucille Jones and husband Milton, Deanie Jones and Donna Peeler; grandchildren Hunter Eagle, Cole Eagle, Hannah Gathings and Logan Love; and special friend of the family, Randi Gibson.

Service and Visitation: A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday April 7 at 3 p.m. at Potters House Fellowship, 108 N. Main St., Faith, NC, conducted by Pastor Alan Hess. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at Juanita Eagles' residence.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County.

Carolina Cremation of Salisbury is assisting the Eagle family.
