Harvey Wayne Eagle

Harvey Wayne Eagle, 79, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018.

Mr. Eagle was born August 8, 1939, in Summerfield, NC to the late Murray Lee "Red" Eagle and Gladys Bolen Eagle. He attended Summerfield High School and was a Diesel Truck Mechanic. Mr. Eagle loved to hunt, fish, garden and enjoyed traveling to the beach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Jo Peeler Eagle; sister, Martha Patton; brothers, Willard Lee Eagle, Calvin Henderson Eagle, Larry Curtis Eagle, and Harold Timothy Eagle.

Harvey is survived by his sons, Tony Wayne Eagle and wife, Pamela, of Stokesdale, Michael Todd Eagle and wife, Gina, of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Sherri Welker and husband, Richard, of Linden; step-sons, Troy Martin and wife, Leigh, of Kernersville, Tony Martin and wife, Sandra, of McLeansville; sisters, Jane Eagle Peeler of Salisbury and Barbara Eagle Spry of Roxboro; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren,

The family will greet friends and relatives on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 21, in the chapel of Powles Staton Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Myers officiating.

Memorials may be made to Shiloh Reformed Church, Faith, NC.
