Monday, May 6, 2013 — Jettie Frick Parker, 89, of Albemarle died at 2 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, in Trinity Place, Albemarle. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Norwood, where she was a member. The Rev. Lowell Brown will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory. Born Jan. 15, 1924 in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Frick and Anna Hathcock Frick. She was a retired employee of Coats and Clark in Newport News, Va. She was married to the late Everette Jennings Parker. Survivors include two sons, Wayne Everette Parker and wife, Barbara, of Newport News, Va., and Dwight Gene Parker and wife, Penny, of Gloucester, Va.; two sisters, Polly Hopkins of Albemarle and Reba Livingston of Newport News, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Stanly Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
