Annie Morgan Hall

RICHFIELD - Annie Belle Morgan Hall, 86, of Richfield, passed away Oct. 21, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Mrs. Morgan was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Tom Morgan and Freida Kirk Morgan. She graduated from Rockwell High School and retired from Cannon Mills, working in the Spinning Room.

Mrs. Hall was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and the Co-workers Circle. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harry Lawrence Hall, on Jan. 10, 1986; and six brothers, Chester, Paulie, Atlas, Hayward, J.T. and Jack Morgan.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley Hall and wife Dianne of Salisbury, Christopher L. Hall and wife Susan of Richfield; and one daughter, Mrs. Sue Freeman and husband William of Charleston, S.C. Two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

Service: The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Gary Coble, pastor, with burial in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at Powles Funeral Home from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday.
