Edith Miller Monroe
Edith Miller Monroe, 93 went to heaven August 13, 2021 at Autumn Care of Salisbury.
Born January 21, 1928 to the late Clyde and Maude Walton Miller, she was educated in the Rowan County Schools, retired from PPG Industries, and was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Walter F. Monroe, son; Eddie Monroe, grandchildren; Reesa Trexler and Justin Monroe.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter; Vickie Oakes of Salisbury, sons; Richard (Debbie) Monroe of Salisbury, Mark (Diane) Monroe of Rockwell, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Autumn Care for the excellent care, love and kindness given to Edith.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 701 E. Lafayette Street, Salisbury, NC.
