REIDSVILLE Melissa Dawn Goolsby, 25, of 509 Price Street, died Sunday, July 13, 2003, at Moses Cone Hospital.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Piedmont Baptist Church and the burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.
Melissa was a native of Rockingham County. She was employed with the Aetna Insurance Company. She graduated from Reidsville High School in 1996, received her Certificate of Completion in Information Systems Technology - Computer Application from RCC in 2000 and was attending Piedmont Baptist Bible College Theology Program. Melissa was a faithful member of Piedmont Baptist Church and was saved by the Grace of God.
She is survived by her parents, James E. "Jim" and Ramona Frick Goolsby of the home; brother, James Robert Goolsby and wife, Tiffany, of Reidsville; nephew, Nathan Duane Lester; niece, Abigail Jordan Marie Ellis; friend, Kimberly Lester and a large extended family.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at her home.
