Faye Love Smith

Faye Love Smith, 77, of Stanfield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her home in Stanfield.

Faye was born May 4, 1941 in Cabarrus County to the late Fred Lee Love and the late Dallie Fink Blake. She was also preceded in death by husband, Ronald Gene Smith; brothers  Fred Lee Love, Jr., and Jessie James Love; two sisters  Pauline Morgan and Minnie Drye; and step-father, Banks Blake.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The memorial service, officiated by Rev. Gary Morris will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church at 7601 Brush Arbor Rd., Concord 28025.

Survivors include son, Dale (Cheryl) Smith of Stanfield; daughter, Jeanne Marie Fox of Eagle River, AK; son, Allen  (Myra) Smith of Albemarle; three grandchildren, Sheila Renee (Brian) Helms, Trevor Allan Fox, Stacy Lynn (Ryan) Faggart; seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter, and  Ethan Helms, Mason, Kayley and Lillian Faggart, and  Natalie Mason; brother, James Daniel Love; four sisters, Nellie Drye, Beatrice Blackwelder, Leola Love, and Doris Mullis, and many step-brothers, step-sisters, and extended family.

Memorials may be made to St Stephens Weslyan Church, 7601 Brush Arbor Rd. Concord, NC; or Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC.
