Perry Lee Kurfees, age 77, of Salisbury passed away on August 2, 2021 at his home.
Born in Rowan County on March 24, 1944, he was the son of the late John Henry Kurfees and the late Kathryn Messick Kurfees.
Perry Lee was a heavy equipment mechanic loved to be outside, loved his family especially his grandchildren and he also loved dogs.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Kurfees and granddaughter, Jesse Bostian.
He is survived by his wife whom he married November 1963, Katrina Eagle Kurfees; son, James Kurfees (Tricia) of Salisbury; daughter, Angela K. Endress (Dean R.) of Salisbury; brother, John C. Kurfees (Sue H.) of Salisbury; sister, Janie Mills (Forest) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Robert Lee Endress (Kat), Emily Endress, and Cameron Shehan, great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Bostian, Robert Bostian, Lilyann Bostian and Grayson Robert Endress.
Service: The family will receive friends for a celebration of Perry Lee’s life on Saturday August 7, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the home of Dean and Angela Endress, 1660 Godbey Road, Salisbury, NC.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, 355 East Ridge Road, Salisbury, NC; or Novant Rowan Hospice & Pallative Care, 1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC.
