Franklin Wyatt Surratt
Mr. Franklin Wyatt Surratt, 84, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Frank was a native of Rowan County, the son of the late Ted Surratt and the late Pearl Wyatt Surratt. He attended Rowan County Schools and Appalachian State University. He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and served on various church committees. He was a retired salesman.
Frank was an Eagle Scout. He helped organize and was the first Scout Master for Troop 350 in Rockwell.
Surviving are his wife, Norma B. Surratt; his son, David F. Surratt of Rock Hill, S.C.; his daughter, Elizabeth S. Oxner of Greenville, S.C.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements: A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Surratt's name to Grace Lutheran Church Scout Troop, 426 Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC.
Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel is assisting the Surratt family.
