GOLD HILL - Ricky Charles Holshouser, Sr., 59, of Gold Hill passed on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at his home.
He was born Dec. 13, 1953 in Rowan County, a son of the late Adolphus Holshouser and Margaret Stokes Holshouser.
If you knew Ricky, you know that he loved his family and friends with all his heart. A beloved son, brother, dad, uncle, friend, grandfather and all around good guy to many people. Ricky has touched many hearts and had his heart touched by many people that will not be forgotten.
He worked for Spec Con Systems and attended New Hope Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and beloved sister Marion Leach.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother Margaret Holshouser of Gold Hill; brother Gene Holshouser of Florida; sisters, Phyllis Ingram of Granite Quarry, Revonda Goodman of Salisbury; his children, Becky Chaffin of China Grove, Ricky Holshouser, Jr. of Faith, Chris Holshouser of Troutman; grandchildren and step-grandchildren that loved him dearly; a great-grandchild and another on the way; two dogs that will truly miss him and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services: A memorial service will be at New Hope Baptist Church, 830 Choate Rd., Salisbury, NC, on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at 6 p.m. with the Pastor Darrell Worley officiating.

GOLD HILL - Ricky Charles Holshouser, Sr., 59, of Gold Hill passed on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at his home.
