Mr. William “Roger” Morgan, 85, a resident of W. Burton Rd. in Thomasville, NC, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Mr. Morgan was born December 4, 1930 in Guilford County to the late Albert Morgan and Clara McDowell Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was retired from Swaim’s Furniture in High Point. He served in the United States Army and was proud to serve his country; he also was a member of Community Evangelical Methodist Church.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cecil Morgan of the home; two sons, Mark Morgan of Trinity, and Mike Morgan and wife Kerry of Clemmons; one sister, Mariless Springer and husband Johnny of Trinity; and four grandchildren, Madelyn Morgan, Wyatt Morgan, Garrett Morgan, and Ella-Brooke Morgan.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, April 25, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Zion United Church of Christ cemetery.
