CONCORD - Linda Marie Jordan McClellan, 58, of 1052 Rembrandt Drive, Concord, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2006.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Broadus Memorial Baptist Church, Concord. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The Rev. Perry Lemmons, Dr. J. Rodney Quesenberry and the Rev. Ray Rippy will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Concord.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. At other times the family will be at the home at 1052 Rembrandt Drive, Concord.
Born Jan. 8, 1948, in Concord, she was a daughter of Harold (Jack) Morrison Jordan of Shalotte and the late Helen Herrin Jordan. She was a member of Royal Grace Bible Church, Concord, formerly White Park Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, David McClellan, Sr.
Survivors include sons, David Allen McClellan Jr. and wife, Lorrie, and Michael Shad McClellan and wife, Amy, all of Concord; daughter, Michelle (McClellan) Long and husband, Mark, of Concord; brother, James Gary Jordan and wife, Carolyn, of Concord; sister, Marsha Jordan McCall and husband, Butch, of Concord; special friend, Brenda Anderkin of Harrisburg; three nephews; two nieces; and five grandchildren, Christopher Little, Tyler McClellan, Megan Long, Chelsei McClellan and Justin McClellan.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, or Royal Grace Baptist Church.
Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, is in charge of arrangements.
