Nancy Weant Wyatt
Nancy Weant Wyatt, age 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022. Born in Spencer, to the late Luther and Sophia Weant. Nancy was a longtime member of Oakwood Baptist Church, Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Wyatt.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Dale (Freddie) Hilliard, Joy (Robert “Bob”) Colby, and Jill (Jeff) Brown; five grandchildren, Matthew (Erica) Hilliard, Lindsey (Cody) Hayes, Lauren Colby, Steven (Michelle) Colby, and Lucas (Casey) Brown; five great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Aubree Hilliard, Chevy and Raelin Hayes, and Kyden Colby; siblings, Jack (Carolyn) Weant and Carolyn (Tony) Fonseca; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Service: A Celebration of Nancy's life will follow at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the North Chapel with Reverend Ken Clark and Reverend Joe Sanchez officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to take a minute and thank everyone who helped take care of their mom.
Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Baptist Church, 4501 Bonny Oaks Drive, Chattanooga, TN.
