Marion Christine Finger Morgan, 100, of Clemmons, NC passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Trinity Elms Assisted Living in Clemmons, NC.
Born November 1, 1922 in Maiden, NC she was the daughter of the late Sidney Michael Finger and Anna Janette Carpenter.
She attended Catawba College where she met her husband, Leo Goodman Morgan, whom she married August 8, 1941. She was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church in Winston Salem where she sang in the choir for over 30 years. She and her husband were world travelers. She loved to knit, read, play bridge and take care of many family pets. Her world was centered around her family and friends. She will be missed greatly.
Those left to cherish her memory are son, Mark Sidney Morgan (Sandra) of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Susan Morgan Moore (Gene) of Lancaster, SC; grandchildren, Jacob Morgan (Jennifer), Anna Morgan, Morgan Moore (Christina), Michael Moore (Laura); great grandchildren, David, Allison, Lily, Salem, Landon, Maddox and Sutton.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 10 AM in the Chapel at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Wollner officiating. Burial will follow at the US National Cemetery, Statesville Blvd location.
