Theron "Ted" Graham, 77, of Linville Falls died October 29, 2011 in Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine after a battle with cancer.
Theron was born in Salisbury, NC son of Mattie and Eubert Graham. Graduated from Boyden High School and NC State University. He served in the Army in Korea. Worked for Duke Power for twenty seven years.
After retirement he pursued an art career. He enjoyed painting, construction and playing tennis.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son Michael of Winston-Salem, NC and granddaughter Samantha Graham of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers Bob and wife Chris of Greensboro, Hugh Graham and wife Brenda of Salisbury, NC; one nephew and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Mitchell County PO Box 38 Spruce Pine, NC; Altamont United Methodist Church 571 Stamey Branch Rd. Newland, NC; Linville Falls Community Church, PO Box 46 Linville Falls, NC; Altapass Foundation, PO Box 245, Little Switzerland, NC, or charity of your choice.
Services for Mr. Graham will be Saturday, November 5th 2:00 p.m. at the Altamont United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the services.
