Leslie McKenzie "Mac" Whitten
Leslie McKenzie "Mac" Whitten, 86, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and James Whitten; and sister, Mary Miller.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Pauline Whitten; daughters, Dale Whitten and Janet Coward (Tony); sons, Craig (JoAnn) and Mark (Brenda) Whitten; grandchildren, Lisa (Tommy), Chad, Rachel, Luke, Mary (CK), James and Michael; great-grandchildren, Emily, Seth, Ansley and Kaiden.
Leslie served in the U.S. Marines during WWII and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service. He will have a private family graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Children's Hospital Richmond.
