RICHFIELD -- Daniel Carl "Dink" Morgan, 75, 28690 Kendall's Church Road, died Wednesday (May 19, 2004) at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle.
Born Feb. 17, 1929, in Stanly County, Mr. Morgan was a son of the late Nathan M. and Bertie Holshouser Morgan.
He retired as a cabinet maker for Oakwood Mobile Homes and was a member of Kendall's Baptist Church, New London.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Whitley Morgan; a son, David C. Morgan; and a daughter, Belinda Ann Morgan.
Survivors include daughter Zondra M. Lambert, Richfield; sister Pauline M. Whitten, Richmond, Va.; brother William J. Morgan, Albemarle; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Kendall's Baptist Church, New London, conducted by the Rev. Johnny Lewis. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial, church cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, and at other times, at the home on Kendall's Church Road.
