Johnnie Lee “Wink” Coley, 70 of Norwood, N.C. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
 
Wink was born in Stanly County on September 6th, 1949, to the late Fred Calvin Coley (Emilee) and the late Betty Troublefield Bramble.
 
He was a retired roofer from D.C.’s Roofing Company where he worked many years alongside his brothers and special nephews. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved to fish and watch NASCAR racing.
 
He is survived by his loving spouse Anita Carol Belsinger of Norwood. One son, Craig Belsinger (Jennifer) of Albemarle. Two Daughters, Crystal Thomas (Brandon) of Norwood and Cindy Morton (Jeffery) of Troy. Grandchildren, Hannah, Derrick, and Lacey Thomas, Caleb, Nathan, and Ava Belsinger, Miley Miller, Britney, Austin, and Betheny Morton.
 
Brothers, Butch Bramble (Pat), Dan Coley, Theron (T.J.) Coley, Gene Coley all of Albemarle, Freddie Coley (Terry), Jerry Coley (Angela) all of Burlington. Sisters, Teresa Stephenson (Tim) of Norwood, Mary Casteen (Billy) of Troy, and Connie Coley English (Dwayne) of Albemarle. Long time best friend, Don Thornton of Baltimore, Maryland.
 
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Coley and two infant brothers.
 
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the angels working with Hospice of Stanly County, Brandi Burleson, Kristen Furr, Sherri Cranford, Beth Thomas, Amanda Smith, and Dr. Veatch for all their love and care they have provided for the past 5 months.
 
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, Albemarle, NC.
