Susan Huffman Morgan, 72, Salisbury, died Friday (Jan. 16, 2004) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Born Sept. 28, 1931, in Rowan County, Mrs. Morgan, a daughter of the late William and Anna Tyson Huffman, was a 1949 graduate of Rockwell High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Bible Church, Rockwell.
Survivors include husband Wayne Morgan, whom she married Aug. 5, 1950; daughters Beth Morgan Huss, Bonnie Morgan Brown and Janet Morgan Bingham, all of Rockwell; brothers David Huffman, Salisbury, and Tom Huffman, King; sisters Lorraine Giordano, Glen Burney, Md., and Preston Lambert, Granite Quarry; and six grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Grace Bible Church,Rockwell, conducted by the Rev. Alan Misenheimer. Entombment, Brookhill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation: 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell. At other times, the family will be at the home.
Memorials: Grace Bible Church, Building Fund, Rockwell.
