Dewey A. Lambert
Dewey (Bud) Lambert, 92, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his home peacefully in Albemarle.
Mr. Lambert was born April 23, 1927 to the late Dewey Lambert and Mattie Eudy Lambert Honeycutt.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Louise C. Lambert and by several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Lambert enjoy being with his big family. He was a veteran of the US Army and was the recipient of the WWII Victory Medal. He was simple man and enjoyed the simple things of life.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, September 30, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Tab Whitley. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens.
Survivors include son, Lamar Lambert; 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and 3 sisters.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice of Stanly and Care Giver Kathryn Hinkle Russell.
