Lewis Clifford Lambert
Lewis Clifford Lambert, 82, of 9205 Webb Road, Stanfield, died at 6:19 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at his home. His funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Indian Hill Presbyterian Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Rick Brundin and The Rev. Gene Hopkins will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born Oct. 9, 1925, in Stanly County, he was one of 10 children born to the late Clarence Jerome and Ara Belle Lambert Lambert.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Cornelius Lee Lambert, and a grandson, Brad Lambert.
He is survived by a son, Don Lambert, and wife, Linda, of 9185 Webb Road, Stanfield, where the family will make headquarters; a daughter, Ginger Barrier and husband, Max, of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Bernice Barbee of Concord; three grandchildren, Dawn Anderson, Beth Hill and Amy Barrier; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Dottie Fund, Indian Hill Presbyterian Church, Stanfield, NC.
