Hobart Efird Bowers, 84, of Buena Park, California, passed away on May 23, 2015.
Hobart owned and operated Reliable Equipment Rentals in Buena Park since 1962. He married Lillian Lisk, the love of his life, on March 12,1955. They just celebrated their 60th anniversary. He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the 82nd Airborne. In 1958 he received his private pilot license.
Hobart is survived by his wife Lillian, their sons Hobart (Caren) and Robert (Susan) Bowers; five grandchildren Douglas, Daniel, Brianna, Chelsea, and Hollie; and his brother Dwight Bowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hobert Daniel Bowers & Dorothy (Efird) Bowers; sisters Lucille Ussery, Violet Burris, Mildred Selander, and Mary Lois Russell, and his beloved dog Sammy.

Burial with military honors presented by The United States Army, Friday, May 29, 2015, 11:00 am, Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E. Bastanchury Rd. Fullerton, CA.
