Marshall "Marsha" Ruth Setzer Ludwick
Marshall "Marsha" Ruth Setzer Ludwick, 64, of Richfield, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006.
Mrs. Ludwick was born Aug. 12, 1941, in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Walter Fred Setzer and Lavenia Lefler Setzer.
A 1959 graduate of Rockwell High School and a graduate of Salisbury Beauty School, Marsha was a self-employed beautician.She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, where she was a youth leader. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved her grandchildren. Marsha had a great love for the river and boating.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Don" Henry Ludwick, on Dec. 26, 2003
Survivors include son Mike Ludwick and wife Linda of Richfield; daughter Donna Curlee and husband Gary of Richfield; brother Fred N. Setzer and wife Dorothy of Salisbury; grandchildren Cody Ludwick, Dalton Ludwick, Summer Curlee, River Curlee and Macie Curlee; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Service: Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Salisbury, conducted by the Rev. Gary Coble, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 tonight at Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Family Life Center, 9275 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC.
