Charles Thomas Bulla Sr.
Charles Thomas Bulla Sr. 62, of Salisbury, passed away on October 16, 2021, surrounded by his family.
He was born July 20, 1959 in Rowan, NC to the late Alfred Bulla and Nell Kirk Bulla. Charles worked as a truck driver for Rowan Septic Tank and in his spare time he enjoyed camping, fishing, visiting the beach, and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by son, Charles Bulla Jr.; sisters, Mary Jo Catoe and Kay Upton; and brother, William “Bill” Kirk.
Charles is survived by the mothers of his children, Teresa Bulla of Salisbury; Bonnie Frizzell of Salisbury; daughter, Evangeline Bulla (Jay) of Salisbury; son, Christopher Bulla (Leann) of Gold Hill; daughter, Lisa Kirkman (Sonny) of Salisbury; daughter, Amanda Bulla (Mike) of Salisbury; Shawn Brown (Samantha) of Asheboro; Geneva Shoaf (Alyssa) of Salisbury; Shane Bulla (Victoria) of Statesville; and 15 grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Old Country Baptist Church, 627 Faith Rd. Salisbury, NC, beginning at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church to help the family with funeral expenses.
Carolina Cremation is assisting the Bulla family.
