Essie Faye Cranford Stamper

Essie Faye Cranford Stamper, 86, of Albemarle, died on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Rowan Regional Hospital in Salisbury.

Funeral services were held March 4 at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel with Rev. Delane Burris officiating. Burial was at Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Mrs. Stamper was a native of Stanly County, born to the late Cicero Amos Cranford and Jennie Lee Richardson Cranford. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by her husband Troy Alexander Stamper; sons Larry Stamper and Roger Stamper; half brothers Rob Cranford and Willard Cranford; half sisters Catherine Moss and Anna Hall; and one granddaughter.

Survivors include sons Ronnie Stamper and Clifford Stamper; daughters Annette Brooks, Judy Honbarrier; sister Bessie Stamper; 10 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; 15 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
