Notes for Judy Elaine Kluttz
Judy Kluttz Lee

Judy Elaine Kluttz Lee, 77, of Norwood, went to be with our Lord and Savior peacefully Friday evening at Northeast Medical Center in Concord surrounded by her entire beloved family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Cottonville Baptist Church. The Reverend Todd McSwain, and longtime friend of the Lee family, will officiate, and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Judy, better known by everyone she knew as ‘Grammy,’ was born on September 26, 1941 in Stanly County to the late Russell and Vera Miller Kluttz of Albemarle. She retired in June of 2004 as Assistant Manager of the South Stanly High School Cafeteria after 25 long years of dedicated service to Stanly County Schools and the many students of South Stanly High School, including her own three children. She was also a longtime member of Cottonville Baptist Church.

Judy’s happiest moments of her life were being a wonderful devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, supporting her family in every single thing they did and attending every church event, spelling bee, or other school activity, cheerleading competition, and sporting event in which they participated. If you could say only one thing about Grammy, it would be that she was always there , and always there for everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Steve Lee, of the home; Two daughters, Kristi Elaine Lee Snuggs (Phillip) of Clayton and Judy Le-Anne Lee Russell (Keith) of Albemarle; One son, Henry Steve Lee Jr. (Stacy) of Norwood; One brother, Bill Kluttz(Jean) of Monroe; one sister, Shirley Swaringen  (William) of Albemarle; Five precious grandchildren: Kali and Keslee Snuggs, Braxlee McKayne Russell, and Sawyer and Sadie Lee.

She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Sylvia Almond.

Memorials may be made to the South Stanly High School Booster Club, which Judy always held near and dear to her heart.
