LOCUST - Daniel Ray Page, 68, of 219 Providence Street, Locust, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House. The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Providence Church of God, Locust, with the Rev. Frank Williams and the Rev. Jimmy Bartley officiating. Burial will be at Providence Church of God Cemetery.
Mr. Page was born Nov. 13, 1940 at Stanly County the son of the late Hardy Washington Page and the late Maude Idell (Moyle) Page.
Mr. Page was a carpenter and a member of Mount Pleasant Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Zazel Elaine (Brattain) Page of the home; sons, Tommy Page of Locust, Timmy Page and wife, Connie, Jamie Page and wife, Heather, Jimmy Page and wife, Cindy, and Joey Page and wife, Heather, all of Concord; daughters, Rita Gardner and husband, Alvin of Locust, Teresa Furr and husband, Jamie, of Mount Pleasant, Sheena Troutman and husband, Scott, Betty Lane, and Tammy Layton and husband, Dennis, of Concord; four sisters; 29 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will meet at his home.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
