Tuesday, February 13, 2007 — Annie Louise Page Bowers, 73, of 404 Pee Dee Ave., Norwood, died at 3:52 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at her home. Her funeral was at 11 a.m. Tuesday with a 30-minute state in Norwood Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member, active as long as her health permitted, and was a choir member. The Rev. Kenneth Myers officiated and burial was in Norview Gardens. Born Aug. 20, 1933, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Sr. and Monnie Duke Page and attended Norwood School. She was a retired seamstress for Cassie Cotillion of Norwood. Her husband, D.C. Bowers, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Monny Howell, and husband, Steve, of Norwood; four sons, Danny Bowers and wife, Shirley, Randy Bowers, and Tony Bowers and wife, Ann, all of Norwood, and Kenny Bowers and wife, Debra, of Albemarle; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A grandson, Brian Bowers, preceded her in death. Edwards Funeral Home of Norwood is in charge. Memorials may be made to Norwood Church of the Nazarene, 424 Flynn Road, Norwood, NC 28128.
