Ruby Lowder Simpson
Ruby Lowder Simpson, 77, of Albemarle, passed away Friday May 3, 2013 at Carolina Medical Center- Mercy in Charlotte.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday May 6, 2013 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Mabry officiating and burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born September 26, 1935 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Adam Martin Lowder and Lula Deese Lowder.
Ms. Simpson was a retired textile worker and a member of Poplin Grove Baptist Church. She was an excellent musician and played the organ at Poplin Grove Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by a son M. Keith Simpson of the home.
She was preceded in death by a brother M. Harold Lowder.
