Keith Craig Herlocker, Sr.

Keith Craig Herlocker, Sr., 72, of Palestine, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at his home.

Keith was born November 23, 1948 in North Carolina to the late James Calvin Herlocker and the late Mabel Speights Herlocker.

He was also preceded in death by sisters, Linda Sides and Carolyn Sides, and brother-in-laws, Raymond Sides and Robert Sides.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by John Troublefield. Burial will immediately follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include wife, Linda Elaine Blalock Herlocker of Palestine, NC, children, Keith Craig (Regina) Herlocker Jr., John Michael (Karen) Herlocker, grandchildren, Keith Herlocker III, Marina Herlocker, Seldon Herlocker, Jacob Herlocker, Chad Melton, and Gabriel Kulbe all of Badin, NC.

Keith served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a fan of NASCAR and any automobiles, especially Chevrolets and Hot Rods. Keith also enjoyed reading science fiction and watching the Discovery Channel. His last job was working at the school bus garage as a mechanic. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was his wife's Best Friend and soulmate, and Best Friend to his children and grandchildren. Keith's family will cherish his memory and he will be missed always and forever.
