Tom Sifferman, Jr, 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. He was born November 1, 1947, in Kansas City, MO to Marge and Henry Sifferman.
Tom was a Monetary Team Specialist in Operations Support at Chase Credit Card Services and Rawlings Sporting Goods in St. Louis, MO. He was in the US Air Force stationed in the Altus, Oklahoma Airforce Base and deployed to Thailand during the Vietnam War. He had 30+ years in McDonalds Coffee Club, he was a Facebook extraordinare, avid Instagramer for pictures of the grandkids and a proficient Google and Pinterest user to find jokes for coffee club family and friends. He was a Cushman Scooter fan and as a young man enjoyed playing softball.
He is preceded in death by his father: Henry Sifferman; Sister and Brother-in-law, Shirley and Joe Guida; Grandparents: Alec and Birdie Mae Sifferman, Archie & Nora Carroll; father-in-law & mother-in-law: Thurman and Nita Smith; nieces & nephews: Jim, Cindy, and Jenny Guida.
He is survived by his mother: Marge Sifferman; wife: Lynda Sifferman; children, Renee and Chris Sifferman; grandchildren, Bella, Addy and Livi; daughter-in-law Meaghan (Bohannon) Sifferman; brother and sisters-in-law, Don and Joey Smith; Sue (Smith) White; nieces and nephews, Joe, Terri and Cheryl Guida; Thurman, Johnny, Terry and Randy White.
Services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 1 P.M. at the Klingner-Cope Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rett Syndrome Research in Tom's name in honor of his 2 year old granddaughter Alivia.
