James Leon Honbarrier, 71, of Salisbury, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Brian Center in Salisbury.
He was born on April 5, 1945, to the late Gideon Anthony and Jessie Stoner Honbarrier in Salisbury. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and a member of the Golden Age Sunday School Class.
James is survived by his sister, Mary Garrett of Gold Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Sunday July 25, from 6-8 p.m., at Powles Staton Funeral Home.
Service: Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 11 a.m., at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Sean Barrett and Rev. Jon Schell, officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to service time. Burial will take place in the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Golden Age Sunday School Class c/o St. Peters Lutheran Church.
