Mrs. Judy Miller Holshouser, 75 of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Mrs. Holshouser was born in Rowan County on October 15, 1940 daughter of the late Lee Miller, Sr and Ester Miller.
Mrs. Holshouser was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a homemaker. She was a member of Organ Lutheran Church. She loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl V. Holshouser, Jr, and brothers, Lee Miller Jr., Buddy Miller, and Roscoe Miller.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Rabon of Salisbury; brothers, Bobby Miller of Salisbury and Clarence Miller of Rockwell; sisters, JoAnn Hammill of Salisbury, Carol Hill of Salisbury, and Dixie Talbert of Rockwell; granddaughter, Candy Anderson and husband Shawn of Salisbury; three grandsons, Arnie Rabon, Shane Rabon and Robin Foster; and by 10 great grandchildren.
The Visitation will be at Powles Staton Funeral Home on Friday, March 11th from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
The funeral service will be at Powles Staton Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 12th conducted by Pastor Steven Manley, pastor of Free Pilgram Church in Thomasville, NC. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury. The family will be at the home of the granddaughter after the burial.
