Lucille E. Williamson
Lucille E. Williamson, 84, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord and her husband, David R. Williamson Jr., on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. She was born in Norwood, N.C., on October 6, 1925, a daughter of the late Luther and Martha Carpenter Eudy.
Surviving are her sons, Jimmy Williamson and wife, Denise, of Salem, Johnny Williamson, Ralph Williamson and wife, Deborah, and Douglas Williamson, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Cincinnati, Ohio.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Walter L. Wood. There will be no visitation.
