Lois Hatley Hinson
Lois Marie Hatley Hinson, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, June 27 at the Mt. Pleasant House.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church, 8535 Lee St., Mt. Pleasant, officiated by the Rev. Chris Wallace and Dr. Rob Roberts; burial will follow at Mission Baptist Church, Locust.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30pm Saturday prior to the service.
Mrs. Hinson was born March 1, 1928 in Stanly County, daughter of the late Charles C. Hatley and Ethel Almond Hatley. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Mt. Pleasant Schools. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by husband John Hinson, brothers Coy Hatley and Charles Junior Hatley, and sisters Callie Barrier and Georgia Wetter.
She is survived sons, John David Hinson, Gary Lane Hinson and Thomas Kevin Hinson; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
